Creativity knows no bounds, and this is especially true in the Northern Rivers region of Australia. For the past 14 months, Raimond de Weerdt has been working on this project that celebrates the diverse and vibrant community of creative individuals who call this region home. Raimond's goal with this book of portraits is to capture the essence of each person, to showcase the unique talents and personalities that make them special. The project began with a few studio portraits as a way to lift spirits after the Covid-19 lockdowns. Those portraits were shared on social media with an invitation for creatives to have their portraits taken too, the response was incredible, creatives from all over the Northern Rivers came through Raimond's studio door to have their portraits taken. The resulting book features 315 studio portraits of a range of creative people from the Northern Rivers.
